The following are excerpts from a book called ‘Disorder in the court’. These are things people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and now published by court reporters who had the torment of staying calm and keeping a straight face while these exchanges were actually taking place.

OMG!
Swaram: When I wrote the first few posts, I never thought that this medium will bring me so many friends, Swaram!
Thank you for going back, reading and commenting!
I luv ur writing Sandhya and cn so relate to some of them. So, thot of catching up with a few from ur archive too :)
Swaram: My son takes the credit for my writing. You must have noticed by now, how raw, I was, in the beginning and how I have changed now, thanks to all my friends like you, Swaram!
You need lot of patience to read so many posts of the same writer, thank you, Swaram!
LOL. I am sure conversations in Indian courts are even funnier. Someone needs to document these things, instead of just being passive observers. I like the way they make quotes, words spoken by popular people, etc. famous in the west. I don't see much of it happening in the Indian scenario.
Destination Infinity
This is seriously hilarious, Sandhya :). Thanks for sharing. Even movie dialogues, some of them are so inane. And these reporters when they ask after a tragedy, "How are you feeling?" What idiots!
DESTINATION INFINITY: I had completely forgotten this post. I had written it in 2004...my son started this blog for me and compelled me to write. I didn't know what to write. So I copied this from some book, I think. Now, it is popping up in the popular list!
Yes, we are not particular about documenting events, quotes by our famous people etc. Though the trend is catching up slowly now. Our court dialogues must be funnier, I agree!
Thanks for the comment for the oldest post, D.I.
RACHNA: Do you remember the movie, 'Die Hard'? After the terrorist attack, a TV reporter asks Bruce Willis, the same question and gets a slap as an answer!
Thanks for the comment for such an old post, Rachna!
