In nature's creation even a mushroom like growth is invested with a pattern and beauty very much like a flower. It is nice to look at but not so to have it in window sill

K.PARTHASARATHY: We are watching the frame everyday for new growths! If we remove the mushroom in one place and block it with sealant, it pops up from some other gap in the ventilator fame. The wooden frame gets wet when my son showers and we have this entertainment of watching them grow! But the wood will get spoiled in a few months, I think!

Thanks for the comment, first comment, Partha Sir!

Mushroom is perhaps the only thing that can be grown as a vegetable and a flower! Can we grow this in a pot?

DESTINATION INFINITY: No, they are not treated as flower, even if they look so beautiful!

My friend grew it in gunny bags filled with special mud with mushroom seeds which she got from her 'mushroom growing' class! They pop out from the wall of the bags. I remember this much! It is a very profitable job, I was told!

such beautiful creations of God...and you have a good eye to spot beauty which many may ignore as a nuisance...

Initially it looked like pencil sharpener waste! Lovely captures on the mushroom

Sandhya said...

RENU: Yes, it looks like a beautiful flower, Renu!

ASHOK: We had removed the previous growth of brown, normal mushrooms. It was looking dirty. But this one looked beautiful. The brown one is growing in another corner now!

Thank you, Ashok!

JEEVAN: Pencil sharpner waste?! Yes, it does look like that!

Thank you for the appreciation. Most people would think that this is a silly post!

Looks lovely, Sandhya. You know we grew mushrooms for some time in our home -- oyster ones. How pretty they looked.
