    Where is it? The monkeys I found near Valparai were very mischievous. Even the ones in Mahabs are like that. They snatch things from the visitors. Were these anymore peaceful?

    RENU: So many people were around them, but they were enjoying in their own world! They didn't trouble anyone! Just running here and there, pulling at each other....it was fun to watch them!


    JEEVAN: 3-4 monkeys were playing on that car, esp. we loved to watch a young one playing with the rear view mirror! Thank you, Jeevan! Our whole family admires monkeys!

    Great pictures. Monkeys are fun to watch as long as they keep a safe distance from us.Should avoid carrying food stuff or other items like camera or hand bags. They may suddenly rush in at you and make a grab. Happened to us at Srimooshanam Temple near Cuddalore where the priest gave us laddoos as prasadam packed in a leaf and as soon as we came out of the inner sanctum one of the temples monkeys ran straight towards us and grabbed one laddoo packet right out of my hand.I was terrified and even screamed.The fellow then went quietly to a corner expertly opened the packet and devoured the contents.
