Are butterflies still available in open spaces? It's been ages since I saw any butterfly directly!

DESTINATION INFINITY: I have got this exora plant/flowers in different colours and other flowers too! They might be coming here because of that. I see many butterflies with nearly the same colour combination, black and white. I am trying to capture an orange and yellow colour disigned butterflies for a long time...they seem to be very brisk!

Lovely! Awesome shot, Sandhyaji! Thanks for sharing. :)

I too love watching them, such lovely creatures.

We call them: Projapoti.

With my bad eyesight I first thought it was a novel way of showcasing a diamond necklace :D Lovely pic, Sandhya, where did you capture it?

Sandhya said...

ROSHMI SINHA: Prajapathi?! We have to make 'o' into 'a'!

During September October, we see a number of them flying here and there in groups. They have touched my face also sometimes! Parrots also used to come at this time for eating Rathnagandhi trees' seeds! I didn't see them this year, though the flowers are waiting for them!

ZEPHYR: The shot was taken by me at my small garden, Zephyr! I have got Exora flowers in different colours. They love to drink honey from them! You can see more butterflies from one of my earlier posts in the link given at the bottom of my post!

Sandhyaji, hope you are reading my Ramayana series. Finally shook off procrastination… and wrote 7 posts. :)

PS.: Yes, ‘Projapoti’ ‘a’ changes into ‘o’ - in Bangla. And lets hope the parrots come and feast on those Ratnagandhi seeds. :)
